Panagia Katapoliani
Single-space temple with a Venetian-style bell tower over the entrance of the south wall. It is built over an early Christian basilica, which in turn is believed that was built over an ancient temple dedicated to Pythian Apollo. Ancient and early Christian elements are visible in the masonry of the temple and the surrounding area.
Evangelistria
Chapel built on a position hidden from the sea to the north of Xylokeratidi settlement. Particular architecture and decorated with non-iconic frescoes dating to the hectic period of iconoclasm.
Minoa
One of the three ancient cities of Amorgos, a colony of Samos. It is built on the mountainous hill of Mountoulia, which overlooks Katapola. Systematic excavations were carried out here from 1981 until a few years ago by Lila Maragou, Professor at the University of Ioannina. The ancient city is accessible by paved road and a little dirt road, about 15 minutes from Katapola. Today, visitors can see some public buildings of the city.
